Hello!
Never had a problem with tmpgenc, but now I am ready to give my computer a format c:!!!!
I use Virtual VCR with the huffyuv codec to record from my sat-receiver.
Result is a 98 Gigabyte AVI file, 2h30 long. The movei I wanted to record starts at 0h10 and end at 2h19 in the avi file.
After conversion to DVD PAL MPG I can play the movie in Windows Mediaplayer, but can not use the slider to jump forward in the movie. BUt when I let it play normally, I find the end of the movie I wanted to record already at 20 minutes, end the rest of the movie is black.
Maybe I have to notice that the field judging takes about 10 minutes and is not getting over 8% and then suddely finishes. Also I am not able to set a source range in tmpgenc, but maybe this is because it is 98 gigabyte in size?
regards,
Whocarestoo.
