I was just wondering: is it possible to disable the multiple of 8 resolution restriction?

Not sure what you mean, but just "clip frame" any value you like, and "Center(Keep Aspect Ratio)" or "FullFrame(Keep Aspect Ratio)". I use "Centre", coz more image gets "overscanned" out of picture on the TV screen when you go "Full Screen".

If I'm barking up the wrong tree, somebody please tell me.

    Thanks.

Hey, thanks for replying. Sorry, not exactly what I meant... not the input video dimensions, but I was referring to the output video size.

    So was NamPla I believe.

But to answer your question, AFAIK, no. I believe it is a restriction of the mpeg format.
