IIRC, Google-watch was started by someone who tried to game Google's ranking system, and then got pissed when they found out and changed the system so he couldn't game it anymore.

aahhh im not worried about it too much. i guess they could say google has the easiest access, maybe thats just cause their systems are NEWER. im not that skurrred, if they wanna come meet me they canbut i dont think they're gonna meet the computer geek they were expectin

When it all comes down to it, what's available about you is what you make available. Some things are public record, but little of that ties in with things like email. Especially if you don't choose to use your own real personal info when signing up.
