  1. I know that when burning CD's sometimes you have to "finalize" them so they can be recognized by other cd players. I really don't know what this means or if it also applies to DVDs.

    If I burn a short movie, say 20 min, on a DVD (+/- R, NOT RW) can I later go back and add on until it is "full"? Or is that disk now read only after the first burn? Do I "finalize" or something like that after I'm done?

    I cannot be 100% certain but I'm pretty sure that if you use + media you don't have to finalise and you can keep adding as is your wish. However, - must be finalised.

    ... Or that's how I think it is, anyway
