  1. Hi

    I am experienced at converting avi videos to dvd but because thats all i have done i am unsure how to handle this mpeg video i have. I know mepg1 is for vcd and mpeg2 for svcd(and dvd i think) but i am not sure what type this one is because GSpot only opens it as mpeg and virtualdub wont even handle it.

    For dvd i use dvdsanta, diko or even winavi but none of them can input as mpeg. Can enyone suggest to me how i can get this onto dvd with the minimum hassle please.

    Try opening it with this:

    TMPGEnc

    That should convert it to a DVD-compliant file. Make sure you read the "What Is" section and look at DVD to see the compliant resolutions and audio formats before you save the file.
