  1. Maybe you guys have some thoughts on this...I created a DVD for someone, one video segment and about 6 different slide shows..slide shows were created with memories on tv as mpegs which I incorporated into the DVD (authored w/ DVDA v2.x).

For some reason, on two or three slide shows, they play ok for me, but get stuck near the end for the client - just freeze.

At first I suspected the media or even burning, so I burned on several different media and w/ both DVDA and dvd-lab (generic driver)...all the same result on two different dvd players (I checked one of them a sony and it seems to be able to handle many things although my TY media wasn't listed). The project is relatively small, so I know I'm not near the edge of the media.

The only thing I can figure is perhaps an invalid mpeg stream, which I think the version of MOT I am using did have in rare cases, although if I upgrade, I may have to re-do the slide show which I am trying to avoid.

    1) Does this scenario sound familiar to anyone?
    2) What can I use to check the mpeg stream for adherance to standards..I can demux it in DVD lab but it reports no issues - parsing it there shows me good info but I can't tell whether it is checking it at the same time.
    3) Any other suggestions?

    TIA

And if so, you can cheat and use REJIG to lower the size. A transcode.
    Or just re-encode.
