  1. I downloaded DVD2SVCD and I didn't like it. So I uninstalled it and all of the components that comes with this program. After I did this, I can't capture anything from my Camcorder anymore. None of my programs can. One of the programs say that I miss a didgital codec that is included in DirectShow and in Windows MediaPlayer 9.0.

I don't know why DVD2SVCD uninstalled this codec cuz when I try to update DirectShow it says it is updated and all of its components.

My question is... If you know what kind of digital DirectShow codec this is about and where to find it speratley or how I can get rid of this problem in any other way PLS TELL ME!

Or give me some links where I can get all codecs I need to be able to capture with my cam again! I don't want to re-install my system.

Where it says select download choose codec installation packages.
Should be the last one on the page.

Thanks for trying... I downloaded that package and it didn't work

    Any other ideas?

I happen to know it is a codec that comes with DirectX and with DirectShow. The problem is there is no way I can re-install DirectX what I know of. Or do anyone know of any way to uninstall or re-install DirectX somehow?

Download the full DirectX 9.0c installer and reinstall. Should install right over the current version even if its the same in my experience.
