Normally you can try playing the DVD on your PC with PowerDVD, then use Dvddecrypter or DVDshrink after that.

Have you tried ripping it to your hard drive using DVDDecrypter or Smartripper ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

  6. smartripper freezes as it begins to read the ifos, dvd decrypter puts it on my hard drive but i must admit its a program ive found difficult to use as i only want to extract the movie.if you want to extract the movie you have to manually select smaller files so you can burn the eventual dvd, ive found this quite difficult.

If you're going to use DVDShrink in reauthor mode or CloneDVD to separate just the main movie, I think you need to extract all files , otherwise your IFOs will be up the shit.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  8. if your going to use clonedvd, it doesn't remove the css protection. you have to have an additional program in the background. Try using "AnyDVD" at www.slysoft.com
