First I'm a newbie and this is an awesome site.

I changed a wmv file to asp then used tmpgenc to convert it to mpg. Now, I burned it with ezcd 5 to vcd. No sound came from the video while playing in my standalone phillips dcd player. So I followed the vcdhelp directions and tried to use virtual dub 3.1 to extract the audio from the wmv file. It would now allow me to open the file. I then used the alternative, dbpoweramp, and was able to create a separate .wav. Then i again used tmpgenc to combine the mpg and wave and it turned out great on the computer as an mpeg. used ezcd 5 to create a vcd file I then tried to play on the standalone dvd and the sound is "jottie" or "skipping" for lack of better words. The dat file off of the cd has no sound problems on the computer.

I tried readjusting the audio, however it doesn't work.

Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
