Hi all, I am trying encode an xvid to dvd using TMPGEnc. I have tried searching and using some of the settings suggested with jerky results. Not really sure how to set up when FPS is already at 29.97.Can someone please tell me what settings in tmpg I should use.
Thanks biff

Hi biff44,
Try this guide:
https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?guideid=457&howtoselect=4;10#457
Your results should not be jerky since the target framerate (DVD NTSC) and the original framerate are identical. I assume the original AVI is fine.
Anyway, have a shot with this. Try encoding a two minute sample and authoring to a DVD+/-RW so you don't waste hours of your time if it doesn't turn out quite right.
Good luck!

Thanks for your reply Cobra. I'll give this standard wa y another go over night tonight. The only thing that I can think was the first time i tried with normal settings is that I must have changed a setting somehow without realizing it. Anyways, thnks again!
