Hello,
I think 512mb RAM is enough right now but I may want to upgrade sometime soon.
I have a new EMACHINES Celeron 2.66ghz pc. How do I tell the specs of the RAM? I know the memory rating but not if its a pc2700 or other pertinent info.
Is it printed on the CHIP itself? I only have one of the two slots filled so obviously the one stick is a 512mb stick.
Can I run a program to analyze it or do I have to open up the case again?
Thanks in advance
Kevin

I find that CPU-Z is the quickest way to find out.
