Can anyone help me I have the dish Network with dvdr it have a hard drive that store tv programs and I wanted to know is there away I can download some of that onto my computer (I heard that you can with Tivo).

Hello,
You'll have to do a net search for "hack tivo". That will give you the info you want. It should be very similar for your dvr.
Though you could burn the dvd and copy it to the computer if you have a dvdrom. Then use programs like tmpgenc to edit it.
Though if you open your dvr to do a digital dump it will void your warranty. FYI.
