I am trying to save a video from a website onto my hard drive. I am using url=https://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=GraphEdit]GraphEdit[/url] and the guide “How to capture Streaming Media to your HD using Graphedit” from this website. This is the first time I am using GraphEdit.
When I cut and paste the web address (Step 1), this is what shows in the box:
One box with the web address with an Output place.
A Second box shows “reader ASX v.2 file Parser”
There are no filters showing and it does not look anything like the guide. I have been looking and researching this.
Is this a hidden web site. How do I get the streaming file? In the directions it shows something completely different. which is very confusing. Researching this on this website shows very few questions about this (or at least that I could find).
I tried to do a screen shot to paste to this post. If anyone knows what I did wrong since the path shows, I would like to be able to upload jpgs when I have questions. I couldn't figure out how to get it to show up here. However, when I did the paste of the screen shot, this showed up “Connect to a running graph in another application” I do not know if this has anything to do with my error or if this is what you get when you hold your cursor over one of the boxes. Any constructive help would be appreciated. Thanks.
