Convert Real Media files to make a vcd?

I have several short films on my computer that are in Real media format. I tried downloading the program EO Video to convert it to .AVI format, but the program wont download. And I have to admit I am a little confused by some of the techniques involving screen catpture.

Could someone please tell me the easiest way to make a VCD out of Real Media files?

Thank you in advance for all of your help.

Also will the VCD be playable in a regular DVD player?

yeah, and once you've downloaded it you get to face the problem it doesn't work.... not forconveritng to/from anything on any OS. how lame.

So the program wont help me to make a VCD with real media files? Do you know of any other easy way to make a vcd from real media files?
