  1. So the situation is, I have my project authored (as both the dvd folders and an iso image), the dvd folder plays just fine on my computer, but once burned, some of the clips skip. So far I have tried around 5 or 6 different DVD-R's, most of them just wouldnt play, some did but skipped, and then finally the discs I have now (Bulkpaq printable 4x Speed) which I got the video onto (just the main video for the premiere of it this friday) played fine, so I ordered 150 more yesterday.

Then I authored the final DVD (Ulead DVD Workshop) with the main video and some DVD extras. When I burned this (from the folders) one of the DVD extras skipped in my Playstation 2, and in my P.C, none of them played. I then tried to burn from the iso image, and the extras played, but still skipped. I tried burning it on my DVD+RW and it seemed to play fine, for some reason everything I've ever burnt onto this DVD+RW worked perfectly. So what can this be?! I would guess it's media, but surely 6 out 6 disk brands I've tried can't be faulty, and thinking if it's the burner (Liteon 4x DVD+/-RW) I have never burnt a faulty CD on it. But I can't think of many occasions where I've burnt a perfect DVD on it. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    EDIT:

    Burning with Nero.

It looks to me as if your DVD player/playstation don't like DVDr's! Playstations, except for the latest, are notoriously picky about media, many older DVD players will only play +r and not -r and vice versa. I used to own an oldish samsung player that would sometimes play a disk falwlessly. Next time, same disk, it would stutter and freeze.

    Try a different player.
