There is a flat screen TV on there that was priced at $1,399.00 yesterday and for the last few days and then today amazon isn't selling it but it has third party sellers that are and the lowest price is now $1,579. There wasn't any warning whatsoever. Do I just need to check the price on it daily and wait for the best price to show up again or what? Is there any rhyme or reason to the pricing of items on Amazon, i.e. days of the week or time of day?

Complain to Amazon. Its seems they really listen to the customer. A while back, I got a product from a third party and had a terrible experience. I complained to Amazon about it. Let's just say that Amazon now sells that item themselves.

Nice, well I think all I can do is just check it daily and when I see another good price like that I will jump all over it!

I would check back periodically. Sounds to me more like they are out of stock right now.
