Hello everyone-I could not wait for my old HP printer to die so I could buy the R200. It cost about $100.USD at Frys. I got a 50 pack of Ridata white DVDs for about $20.
The Epson software was super easy to use, the setup only required minor calibration to have background photos perfectly placed on the disc. With default settings and the Print Setup on "Photo", discs came out sharp with nice color.
Very satisfied with this printer(it prints text and photos good as well), well worth the price. I'm sure it will go through ink, that's how these printer companies make their money. I was checking out the thread for the ink tanks, if I start using lots of ink, I might think about it, we'll see.

  2. Yea Sams Club has em for 88 bucks. As far as ink issues I get plenty of prints on FULL COLOR print dvds and photos.. never an issue.

price per quality and function its the best buy out there now.

  6. Had a bad experience with a Canon?
I would not be suprised. Most printers these
    days are fairly cheaply built.

I own a R210. It prints very well when it prints
but it has some serious flaws. I'll be dumping
    it soon I feel.
