  1. hello,

is there such program where when u launch it, and you can readily place the cds or dvds to be copied on drives accordingly and continues to do this after each copy? this way..there are no more buttons to click and just go straight ahead with the burning...

    Thanks in advance.

DiscJuggler can do this (Pro version or better, with "ImageJuggler"). Works much better when paired with Autoloader. Lots of places have these. Check out http://www.discmakers.com for some examples.

Sure, here you go. I hope you have a lot of CDs on hand.http://www.runtechmedia.net/product.asp?sku=vp5140&a=10

However, if you don't have $4KUS to spend, you may have to settle for pushing some buttons once in a while.

I use Primo DVD sort of like this.

Last week I had 17 projects to burn, with 4-10 copies for each project.

I loaded in the 17 image files, selected the number of copies to burn for each, and hit go.

When one is done it ejects then beeps until the next blank is inserted, and continues on throught the entire batch. Primo only works with DVD-R only drives though. Not any DVD-R/DVD+R drives. Also handles multiple recorders fine.

I have 2 towers, one with 4A05s, and another with 3 Toshiba SD-R5112s. Record Now Max does support multiple recorders, but I could never get it to batch record like Primo. Could be a limitation in my version, or the software itself.

Nero also have a version similar to Disc Juggler's version. Both can also support networked HD for image burn mode to mulitple burners. They will first do a transfer test to make sure you network is up to snuff before burning, if it isn't it will copy the image file to a local disc, then burn from there.

If your looking to duplicate DVDs/CDs, get a duplicator. There are many options in this field. 1 to 1 upto 1 to 21 and numbers in between. Some also have hard drive options that support queing and firewire control from the main pc for job control.

Heck, even ImageBurn can do this. Set to 10 (or whatever) copies, let it burn, watch the tray eject, put in new disc, wait for tray, put in new disc...

Of course, only good for one image at a time copying but it does work as requested.
    Have a good one,

    neomaine
