The movie database programs are fine but most of them are useless when trying to input home made DVDs or custom ones. I used to use an old DOS database modified for VHS and Beta tapes. I could easily use it for my DVDs as well but I mostly keep those in binders these days so they are easy to find. A small notepad or notebook can then be used to let me know what is in which binder. Takes up an awful lot less floorspace than the old VHS and Beta tapes which now comprise 30% of a room at a friend's home. No telling what will happen to those in the next year though...

Some of you who are using excel and what not, might want to give a look at Ant Movie Catalog (AMC). I like it because I can download automatically all the info from the Internet Movie Database on each movie including poster art, ratings cast... As I said I just imported a title list from excel and AMC did the rest. I can now search by cast name and see a summary, rating, who else was in it... AMC also has various outputs if you want to print it or up load your catalog. The developer is active and answers questions on his forum.

  5. I looked in tools for ANT and Movie Collector and couldn't find them. Maybe this catagory should be added so people can rate them?

I think that Smurf is getting a tint of green! Kick a mans dog, steal his wife, short change him on a sale but knock over his DVD rack? Man thats cold!

Cap I am guessing no kids at your place, huh? Let my heathens at those and Smurfs idea wouldn't seem all that bad in comparison
IS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT?
