    I am new, and looking at getting a DVD play.If you had to chose a DVD play for under $300 what would you get?

    What features should I look for?

    Thanks for any and all help. Newbie-to-be.

    one player is worth talking about in vcdhelp.com

    pioneer dv-343

    It plays all strainge formats: vcd,svcd,xvcd,xsvcd,dvd

    GREAT and not expencive!
