    I've been looking - but cannot find - a simple way to split or join mp4 files created using Nero Recode. I don't want to convert to .avi, but rather keep outputted joined files as mp4 at same bit rate.

    Any suggestions MUCH appreciated! Thanks.

    I've searched Tools for Cutters and Splitters, but there does not seem to be a lot of info on this.

    I need to send someone a snippet of an MP4 file for testing.

    Is there a (free?) tool for MP4 (H264) files similar to the AviSplit Classic Tool for AVI/DivX/XviD files?

    mp4box can split/join mp4's. Otherwise you could try AVIDemux.

    I guess I searched for pure splitters / cutters and missed those, they seem to be encoders too,
