Nero Vision Express 2: MPEG import problem

I can't import mpg-files anymore in my Vision express 2
I just want to burn a DVD, but when i try to import a generic mpeg-2 file, there is an error: import failed!

What happened here?

Is it possible your codecs might be up the creek ? Does it give you any more information about the error apart from "import failed" ? Are you proficient in using or willing to learn a dedicated MPEG encoder such as TMPGEnc ?

Checked my codecs, nothing wrong.

I Know TMPGEnc, it's a piece o'shit.

For the simple jobs , I just like to make some menu's in Photoshop.
Importn' that as a background in Vision Express, and then just adding the mpg's. But today it fails to do that.

It just says "insert mpg failed".

Did it in Encore, so problem solved,...for now

Maybe it doesn't like the MPEGs because they're non-compliant or corrupt somehow. Were they generated from the same source as before when it worked?
