    I am trying to improve my drive performance. I only to have 2 ide slots. My hard drive is on the primary as the master. I have 2 drive on the secondary; my burner as the master and the dvd drive as the slave. Is this the best configuration? Any suggestions are appreciated.

    If you rip DVD's and use your DVD drive as a CD-ROM, make the DVD the master and the CD-RW the slave.

    If you only use the DVD to watch movies, then ur kool.
