  1. Hi there,
    I have just merged 2 SVCD mpg files into 1 but have a problem. The 2 separate files are about 54mins and about 780MB each but after I have merged the 2 with DV Tool, the file size is 1.5GB (what it should be I guess) but the length of the whole merged file is just 53mins .I thought it might be PowerDVD messing about so I tried it in Windows Media Player and it also says its only 53mins in length. There is only 1 chapter so its not separate chapter lengths.
    I haven't really got time to watch the whole thing through to see if its all there but is that the only way I can see if something is missing?

    dvtool doesn't change the mpeg headers(=wrong time). use a better editor like videoredo, mpegvcr, tmpgenc(under file->tools).
