  1. I am using TMPGEnc Plus 2.5, it work perfectly like a charm last time i used it although it was a while ago and now im back to convert some videos. I am trying to convert to DVD NTSC (MPEG-2 720x480 29.97fps CBR 2000kbps, Linear PCM 48000Hz 1536kbps). When i press start it works fine till a certain percent the frame/vid freezes while it still in process, i tried different videos and it gives me the same problem. I also did the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader which it did not work but i wish it did. Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks

You and me both. I'm having trouble with something too.

    Anyway, try this:
    - scan for bad frames in virtualdub
    - disable SSE in tmpgenc

I have source that is perfect, and have fiddled endlessly with environmental settings and CPU settings, to no avail.
