  1. Hello guys,

    I have a new problem....
I have converted a full serie of Episode (60 of them)
into .mpgs with TMPGENC now they are 300 megs each

I don't wanna use Nero vison & only burn 10 episode maximum on 1 Dvd so it will take me 6 Disc to burn the full thing
what program should i use to put the most Episode on one Dvd at least 4.7 (dvd ) full capacity) I want the DVD-r to be able to be played in my DVD player .

byt the way each episodes are 30 mins each some 20 / or even 18 mins/

    thanks! & advance again

Play time of episodes is not relevent

    You Have :
    60 episodes at ~ 300Mb each
300 Mb * 12 episodes to a disk for an even 5 DVD set.
    300 Mb @ 30 minutes is a low bitrate.

You could almost squeeze 15 episodes to disc (4 discs) and use DVDShrink to pull back down if required. Either that or use DL media and we're talking 25 episodes per disc (2 discs).

This is all given that you use the MPEGs you have ATM. In an ideal world, you'd work out how many discs you want to use, then calculate the bitrate you need to re-encode at to make this happen, but it'll mean re-encoding all 60 files, so it probably isn't the best option since you've already re-encoded them. We've just gotta band-aid it from here on in I'm afraid
    If in doubt, Google it.
