    Your best bet would be to download the complete full install file . The link for it is Like the fourth one down from the one you chose to download. The filesize is like 9.2mb or so.

  4. Thanks for answering! I think it would be the best to include the dvdauthor binaries in the 'normal' install files as well, i.e. since http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~homit/
    doesn't work any more.

    No problem borax. I had the same problems and after I downloaded the first file I figured out what i needed to do. I am currently using both your gui and liquid217's gui. Both are good and each one has it's own advantages. One of the advantages liquid's gui has over yours is the ability to auto delete the temporary files. Over all I think your gui is very good (espically for the ability to make multiple vts files)!

    Once you have all the dependencies installed the Create DVD Button Should become available after you put a vid on the dvd. Has anyone seen this ported to linux?

    It would be no problem to delete the files after creating the VIDEO_TS folder. My problem: What is really temporary? Just the M2V, MPG, XML and BAT files, probably the AVS, JPG and PNG files too, or also the BMP/VOB files (chapter images/clips), or even all files?

    @all
    I changed the installation packages:
    Now all installation packages include the dvdauthor binaries, except the 'EXE only' and 'Update' downloads.

  9. I've been able to run GUI for DVD Author very successfully in windows. Is it possible to run it in linux (I'm running slackware 10.0)? I installed it sucessfully with wine from the link freebird73717 linked, and there was no problem installing. But when I try to run it the window opens up but freezes and never unfreezes. Is there any way around this or could it be ported to linux (yes I know about q dvd author but I would also like this)?
