    It's like a month long festival that takes place in November for people who have just finished High School. The first week, the one finishing tonight, is the main week because its the Queensland school leavers.

    Basically its just a reason to party, get drunk and hook up. Think Spring Break for college kids.

    Beav, I lived in old Nihon seven years: seven winters of kotatsu-toasted tootsies but the back of my neck was always cold. The other option was those ubiquitous kerosene heaters in the washitsu, but oh the smell, not to mention the fire hazard.

    Go with the heated carpet. A warm carpet feels great.
