I found this site:
http://audiovisual.kelkoo.co.uk/b/a/ps_10679785/100304323.html
According to this page, my JVC M10 can play both PAL and NTSC format - does anyone know if this is correct? I don't have any PAL discs to try out, so I'm wondering if this is just a new capability, or if maybe this place sells a modified M10.
Thanks for any info/help!

It can play them, yes, and quite well. No mod needed.

Thanks Lordsmurf. I just wish there was a way to convert PAL to NTSC that was relatively easy!
