Ok..Im running Service Pack 2, XP Home edition. Just got a Speeze 3.5" HDD Enclosure and its working BUT..only at 1.1. I'm using an intel 845-D motherboard and I tried the drivers on Intel's site, so far no luck. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to get this sorted out? I really need 2.0 speeds ASAP. Thank you.

first of all does your mobo support USB 2.0? you may have to install the latest INTEL APPLICATION ACCELERATOR to enable the USB 2.0 capability.

Just to confirm make sure your \ System \ Device Manager \ USB Contollers has the word "enhanced" regarding the host controller. If it is there then system and drivers are setup / working with USB 2 hardware.
