It seems that in order to get the finished product to full screen, I first need to know the aspect ratio of the source .avi, correct? Well, how can I find that out? Some of them have been chopped-off on the top & bottom, some all around and at different sizes. Is there a quick way to determine which is which? What are alll the different aspect ratios in TMPGEnc?
Thanks in advance fer yer help.

Load the avi in TMPG, it will show you the resolution and framerate in the very buttom line. Divide width by height of the avi and you know the aspect ratio.
