  1. i encode with tmpgenc all the time and it works fine and now it isnt encoding the audio properly. it encodes the video just fine but the audio is just on for a second and then the rest is silence

    i need help anyone know whats wrong, maybe a codec problem or something. the sources file is .avi

    try change the directshow priority

    or you can encode the audio separate with something like ffmpeggui, belight and after join it with the video(multiplex)

    or separate the audio in the video to wav and use it as the source in the tmpgenc, www.videohelp.com/virtualdubaudio

  3. thanks for replying but i have figured it out now. i have green arrow in the system tray which has lots of options and stuff so i thought i would look at the audio options (its codecs). the audio in the avi is mp3 so i disabled the mp3 decoder and i was amazed that it worked because i thought it wouldnt.
