What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

    If in doubt, Google it.

  3. I love good "artsy-fartsy" movies with subtitles.
I don't hang "poo-poo" on action movies either,
nor do my friends. What you want to see is fine by me.

When it comes to pointless "poo-poo" I think
you'll find the action crowd is more accountable.

  5. I can generally tell whether I'll like a movie from the trailers/advertising etc so I don't rely on critics.

I normally see a movie when its in theatres with my friends and we each decide what it'll be so I also see movies I wouldn't go see like Exorcist: The Beginning, worst movie ever, and Without a Paddle which was suprisingly entertaining and good.

I read the reviews in the paper, but I don't listen to them, unless I've also heard from friends that a movie sucked.

I take a movie for what it's worth. I don't expect anything, other than to be entertained. I rarely dislike a movie, unless it's really bad.

Yep I watch Dateline but this week switched to the final
of The New Inventors on Aunty.

Was this a buggered up attempt to accuse me of watching
Queer as Folk or something? :P

As far as arthouse films go, I see them at the cinema before
    having a cafe latte :P

Queer As Folk, how is that show? I keep hearing about it but haven't watched it at all. Sopranos either.

  9. I don't base what movie I see on a review.

However when deciding whether to buy it on dvd and what region/version to buy I go with the dvd reviews section over at www.avforums.com very clued up. They spend 80% of their review looking at the picture and most importantly the sound.
