How about having the chapters drawer on the left side and streams on the right (or vice-versa), so they can see all at once? I like the time and size display, very complete. So out of curiosity, is it possible to select chapter ranges by holding the shift key or click-holding and selecting multiple?

LOL, you're too hard on yourself. Just be thankful we're giving meaning to your life :P I keed, I keed. I think chapters on the left and streams on the right would be good. This app now has wings (for extra spill protection), woot!

OK, my computer is running fine now, I've responded to the 150+ support emails that have come in while my computer was in the shop for two weeks, and I've gotten the PayPal info sent out. Let me know if you want to make a donation, but you haven't received the info yet... MTR 2.6 should be coming soon, as soon as Geezer has received enough donations to cover the drive he wants to get (I'd suggest the Pioneer 108 over the NEC, personally), and as soon as I get a copy of the new revision, and update the manual and website to reflect the changes and new features.

I just finished my PayPal transaction for a Christmas gift.

Maybe a Pioneer 108 would be a better choice?

Hope to see a download link soon here in the forum or in my mailbox

    Cheers,

    BitSetting and DL drives....

IMHO no so important at the moment. I stick with my Pioneer 107 drive since the reports in the German c't Magazin were not so promising. Lots of errors when reading.

At the moment you get the best in reliability and speed by using a SL burner and 4x max. burning speed. And DVD media that fits your drive.

  13. For what it's worth-- a message on another board reported that Pioneer will be releasing a 109 in January, though what its features will be were still under wraps when last I checked.

REALLY looking forward to MTR 2.6. And have really enjoyed eavesdropping on its future tweaks. Thanks.

So it should not be an issue with the Pioneer 108 right?

    nearly there..

bitsetting allows you to set the disk type to be recognised as a DVD-ROM to make it compat with most normal / older DVD players

As a side note to wise ...2.7 is fully operational.

I can't believe you can't find the 108 in stores there. It's only the most popular after-market DVD-RW drive at the moment...

  23. nope , all the stores here carry LiteOn or NEC... my discount supplier used to carry pioneer , but like the other stores , they dropped / cant get them...

The DVR108XL is going to cost 249 ch ( $214 ).. thats how much more expensive things are here.....

If i order from germany , or outside switzerland , i get stuffed on import duty ( very expensive - we are non-EU ) aswell as steep posal costs....

    i cant win.

so its not 53 bucks remaining .. its 139...

    This is very depressing..

NEC sounds like a good buy at that point... Around these parts, they're about the same price, at around $70 for the NEC and $80 for the Pioneer 108... man, you CH folks have it rough...

  26. If someone were to have an eBay auction for a Pioneer 108 would that avoid taxes? What are the rules on such things? Are private individuals forced to pay anything other than the cost of International shipping?
    Quote Quote
  27. the ebay idea is a good one , but i still get stuffed at the border , i do a lot of ebay , so i have a great deal of experience with the border folk...

    right down to bizzzzz

wise , just for you i added 'drag select' in the tableVoie for chapter selectors...

So click in row and drag , release at end row , and it will select/deselect the selected rows....

    good eh...
here is a piccy to wet ones appetite.

  28. oh, to correct myself ref the 108 drive ... it DOES auto set the booktype to be DVD-ROM to be more compat...
