Should players that play +R DL play upcoming -R DL ?

Hi all,

I've been thinking about getting a PIONEER DV-578A due to its SACD capability, and also cause it's been reported it plays +R DL properly - at least one user has said that clearly at the comments section.

Anyway, as we all know, -R DL is coming next year, and people say it'll be even better...I wonder...would this player also play -R DL, as it already plays +R DL ?
