    You can't fake something when it comes to DVD audio streams, they require very specific paramaters. You could buy a DTS encoder, but they cost $$$, or you could convert to 2-channel AC3 using HeadAch3.

    PS: the whole process transcoding from stereo to 5.1 AC3/DTS takes you about the same time as your source length
