  1. Hello:

I know maybe my question is dificult to answer but, I have to.
I'm working with Final Cut Pro HD, and a HDCAM deck in 1920x1080i HDTV format.

My problem is when I done the job I have to convert my project of 1920x1080i 140Mbits to a mpeg2 TS 1920x1080i 19Mbits.

In others platforms exist codecs for HD streams like mainconcept (the OSX version is not HD) or canopus por example, but in OSX I didn't found any converter to do my job.

Sombody please can inform me if exist some app that can help me.

    Thank you a lot.
    Guille.

For HD, there's DVCProHD and Pixlet... Soon, (with 10.4 Tiger, I think) there will be H.264, which is the next-generation codec supported by both the Blu-Ray and HD-DVD standards. I would stick to DVCPro HD until you can export to H.264 for now...
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."

  3. You can encode in HD Transpot Stream with MainConcept encoder for OSX...But You have to setup encoding parameters manually under Advanced section...
