  1. I am thinking of buying a dual layer dvd burner. However, the store does not sell the disks-DVD R9. Maybe I am misunderstanding something(or maybe I am just dumb as a rock).

Can you fit 9.4 GB on regular blank 4.7GB disk with a dual layer burner? Or, do I have to buy the DVD R9 disks? Not many places sell the DVD 9 disks. I guess that is why I am confused.

    probably a dumb question...

No, you can't fit 9.4GB or it is actually 8.5GB on a 4.7GB (or in the computer world it is 7.95GB and 4.37GB...). You must buy dvd+r dl/d9 disks, they are still pretty expensive.

The best place to buy is a store in an area where there is heavy competition. That way, when prices come down, they come down faster. Anyway, it doesn't matter where you get the disc from in the case of DL, they are that expensive that you might as well buy another copy of the legit version in a lot of cases.
