Use Nero, but since you want to use EZ CD Creator use TSCV to create a SVCD bin file that you can burn in EZ CD Creator.
I only dream in black & white...

  3. What is TSCV and how would I go about creating a bin file for this? I have burned a significant amount of cvd's but am new to this site. I have never even seen anything at all regarding this TSCV in using the Adaptec software.

    Thanks

TSCV is a gui for vcdimager, which will allow you to author a svcd and export it in bin and cue, which is a disk image format that can be burned by most burning software. Click on the tools link to download TSCV and click on the AUTHOR link find guides on how to use it.

  5. Just curious if anybody knows exactly how to take a SVCD bin file and burn it using EZ CD Creator? Nero and CDRDAO don't seem to work on my computer.

  6. Adam,
    Thank You
I've been educating myself regarding the use of TSCV. Still a bit confused regarding the concept of bin and cue but should have it before not to long.

My question is, would it be a simpler process to use nero to burn SVCD,s rather than using TSCV and exporting as bin and cue?
Would there be an advantage to going the later route, vrs nero?
Do you think EZ CD creator is the way to go?

Wallyworld17, I can not give any advise yet, hopefully this post will answer that question.
    Thanks

  8. K, I seem to have a few stubbling blocks in my quest to burn An SVCD uusing Ez Cd Creator.

My first stupid question is with the TSCV v 0.73 release 2. I could not find this specific version at the ttools wed site. I first downloaded the 0.82 rel 2. and then rel 3 version which both appeared to already have the vcdimager included with it. Will either of these 2 versions work? I could not grt either to work. Is the vcdimager Gui v 0.7.10 already in this folder? Things started going ok as far as the settings with TSCV were concered. But I could not get the vcdimager to open up with either versions of TSCV. Also could not find gui version 0.7.10?

Second serious of stupid questions, Am I on the right track? The links on the right of this page are no longer available for either of these versions. I tried to download the vcdimager Gui v 0.7.10 freeware from the ttool.de/indexe.htm site but could not find the right version there either. Which specific version of vcdimager will work and where can I find it? Same question applies to TSCV? Should I be concered with versions at all of either TSCV or vcdimager?

Would just purchasing nero be the answer to all of this (quality is the primary issue for me though)?

Hope some one can follow some of this.

    Any imput would be great?

    Thanks a mill!!!!

Though TSCV is powerful, I do not like it. It is too tedious to make a svcd with mune and chapters. I do not understand why the author puts so many professional things (words) to confuse the users. As a example, Ulead's movie factory is much simpler to create menu and chapters (unfortunately, UMF is not creating real chapters and the time displayed is not right, a lot of problems.... like a alpha, not beta version). I think a GUI for VCDImager should be as simple as possible. If a GUI similar to ulead movie factory, it will beat any others.
