  3. If you want to join them, make them all ONE track in DVD Author. Adding them as seperate tracks will cause the DVD to return to the menu between segments.

  4. Here is 1 solution...i use Nerovision Express 3 to combine as many mpegs or avi's OR VOBS. into 1 track and with menus and chapters...AUDIO CAN BE LPCM OR AC3-2.0.....it will automatically reduce the BITRATE to make everything fit on 1 dvd....BE WARNED..A LOW BITRATE MEANS REALLY GRAINY VIDEO!!GOOD LUCK

I suggest you make the different format track conform with the others (reencode), then author with TDA as parts of the same track.
Use a real encoder like CCE, TMPGEnc, MainConcept - not Nero or other half baked "doitallforyouwithjustoneclick" kind of app.

Could it be that for every thing that Nero (claims) to do, there are at least one (often many) other tool, mostly free, that does it better? If a process using 4 apps and 10 clicks gets me a better end product than a process of one app/one click, I'm for the former. But again, each to his/her own!
