I think people, for the most part, do what they want anyhow. What is that question for anyhow? Do they use it to thin out the guest list at the reception? I mean, if you think about it, the more people who disagree with choice for a partner in marriage, life mate, etc; the cheaper the wedding. Unfortunately that hypothesis is blown all to hell, as you would have already figured these people into your guest list as RSVP'd "yes". Then, if they did object, and you still went on with it, and those people left... you would have leftovers. Anyone ever see a bride and groom carry leftovers out of the reception? Not quite the tackiest thing in the world, but damn close.

I don't know about left overs, but I know I've only seen kegs with beer still in them, left over once and that was at a 10 keg reception...the guy got a price break at 10 kegs
so he got 10.
They didn't go to waste however
