    just purchased a recorder centrex ctdr 1000, that is doing everything right so far for a cheapy.

    My problem is that when I take dvdRW+ onto computer, DVD Shrink will not recognize disc, and TMPGEnc DVD Author will only recognize part of the recording, but if I process through DVD Decrypter, then TMPG will read as OK and I can edit add chapter etc.

    Also cannot get DVDrw+ disc to read on my standalone DVD Player.

    Finalise the DVD, use Nero or your DVD recorder to do that. otherwise it is a gamble.

    Have only one recording on your dvd.

    Copy with your PC/Mac, a multi-recorded disc to a blank +rw
    and delete all but one recording with your recorder (not PC).

    Make it compatible if your recorder has that function
