Found the Seagate 400. It's ATA100. Still not a bad deal at all.

I wonder if price-matching applies to big ads / sales like Black Friday. I wonder what would happen if you went out and bought what you wanted before the sale, then when the sale started, avoided the registers and went straight to the customer service desk asking for your price match refunds. They'd probably hate you, but according to most price match policies, I think they'd have to honor it as long as the sale was on and the products were in stock. :P

they'd probably pull out some b.s. stateing black out dates or somethin, of course if you whine enough the customer always is right? its funny how you have to bitch and moan enough for that policy to be true

well i did it...but not the 3500+ like i wanted to

but i cant complain i walked out of fry's with:

sempron 2600+ and ecs kt600 board for $80(1 day sale)

    btc 1108 8x8 dvd burner $60

    mge case 350w $40

well i kept under $200 after taxes for all the hardware i needed, i think thats pretty good. not bad for walking out of a retail store.

guess ill have to wait after xmas to build my 3500+, i started feeling the spirit and guess a few people are getting gifts this year

but everybody was lookin at me funny in the store when i was walkin around with all that computer hardware i was like what?!?! do i really look that thuggish that i shouldnt know anything about computers?
