    How can I tell which files to save and burn from a dvd if all I want is the main movie? Some seem obvious because of their size.

    There are video and vts files with ext BUP IFO and VOB.

    You really need to use Shrink and reauthor. You can then select the main movie only. But if I were to guess the main movie in the list you provide would be the .vob files 2-1 to 2-4.

    If its a dual layer dvd, then you will still need to use dvd shrink as the "movie only" may well be over 4.38GB.
