ok i have dvd-videos that i cannot extract to my hdd. Ive tried DVD Decrypter and it always errors out at 24% of vob 1_2. I have many discs of the same stuff on same kind of media that errors out at the same area too.
I tried Nero Copy, didnt work, I tried roxio disc copier 7 but it wont read it as a source. It says 'please insert the original copy'. I also tried Rejig to deplux it and re-encode but that too doesnt give me the full length of the video. It gives a little more than 1 gig. Which is probably around 24% of vob 1_2.
the media plays well, Im positive that its the media. I think its at an area where the writer changes speed. I notice w/ this media that if you look data side of disc, you can see (very obviously) where it changes speed. On other media you almost cant even tell at a glance, but on this its so obvious, like it stopped and started another session.
Well anyways these videos are very important to me and i need to find a way to get it back on my hdd for re-encoding. Does anyone have any possible solutions? Am i at a full loss?
