@manono - Actually, I could care less If anyone visits my site. I only included the link in case someone wanted more information. I am sorry that including a link offended you.

As for the DVD authoring tools, you are wrong. Many of them will allow 360x240 dvd complaint files. ffmpeg with the switches I listed above creates DVD complaint Mpeg files.

Of course using a command line tool such as dvdauthor gives much more flexibility in what is allowed to be formatted on the DVD.

Actually the only reason I came to the site to day was because of a Google search about DVd size. I had to join to make a post. And I did apologize at the beginning of my post stating I know it was an old post. I just thought some one might be able to use the information. I am sorry that it offended you.

Nonsense. Try taking one of the M2V/MPVs you create at those resolutions and opening it in ... say ... Muxman and see what happens. Maybe you should learn what's allowed for DVD resolution. The fact that some (meaning inferior) authoring programs accept it without so much as a complaint means nothing.

How can bad information be useful to anyone?

RobLMoore: Make a new thread instead of digging up very a old thread. But I don't see the point of making dvds with non dvd compliant resolutions...
