Microsoft is scared be cause a revolution is beginning to bubble and they stand to lose money on it.

I especially like the part on security concerns in China. MS said the claims were "overblown". Not "unfounded" or "untrue".
While there may be some merit to the statement that open source is available to anyone, and you never know who might put what into it, the source is there for any developer to find and blow the whistle on it. Plus, they can remove it and recompile.
While it may seem to some that I have been bashing MS lately, and maybe I have, it is reasons like this that cause it. I laugh at the MS approach of "Don't trust anyone...except us. We would never screw you over". At least they are consistent in trying to crush anyone who stands in their way of world supremacy.
