This is the first time I'm using DVD Lab, and I have a few questions. First, after frameserving and encoding a video, I realized I have too much black, about 15 seconds at the beginning. I know there's a feature 'trim end' to shorten the end of a video, but can I do anything about the beginning without starting over? Second if I place audio under my opening menu page, will it play on the chapter menus that I'll have following it, or do I have to do something else to make that happen.
Thanks.

1. Try one of the mpeg-2 editors, such as Womble VCR. This should allow you to trim your footage without reencoding.
2. You have to add audio to each menu for which you want it to play. You will find that the audio will break when you select a button to move to another menu screen, and will start again at the beginning of that menu screen's audio. There is nothing you can do about that, it's the way menus work.Read my blog here.
