I have a couple of DVDs that I cant rip properly because I get read errors. Thing is, I can extract/decrypt nearly 99% of the DVD after accepting many read errors, but I then am unable to compress with CloneDVD or DVDshink(they both give errors at the decrypted data).
Is there a way to accept read errors while decrypting and still be able make a working DVDR?
Thanks guys.

Hello,
Have you tried smartripper yet???
There are other rippers listed in the tools section found on the left of the screen....
KevinDonatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
are you decrypting from a dvd writer. they are more powerful at reading than say a dvd reader.
try dvd diagnostic on the problem dvd.
hope u can sole the problemdoorman -
I have tried reading/decrypting from 3 different DVD writers and get the same results.
Havent tried smartripper though.. -
your problem sounds like a dirty or scratched dvd, try cleaning it. if that doesn't work try one of the dvd scratch repair products(or just try toothpaste, i've heard it works as well as any of the products you can buy especially for repairing dvds)

White old fashioned toothpaste - not gelly - works great. Has done wonders on scratched rentals. My local rental shop is now also a fan (!)
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know. -
What is the best way to go about using toothpaste?
Use a polishing rag? what motion? -
