Hi Everyone!
I'm new to dealing with SVCD. I bought a DVC II and made a few great quality vcds. However, it didn't satisfy me because I'm looking for something similar to DVD grade but with much lesser cost and seems to me SVCD is what I'm looking for.
Anyway, I tried capture the movie with the highest quality format possible (DVD-mpeg2) and then use TMPGEnc. to encode it into SVCD. I followed the instructions listed under the "How To" and got an excellent quality of the movie and then burn it onto the CD-RW for testing.
It was fine when I play the disc on my PC but the movie was jerky when I played it on my Pioneer DV-434. I check and my player supports SVCD. I try using different bitrate and ways to encode the movie but the result was the same. Can anyone give me a help?
